**Tennis Coach**

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

Coaches are responsible for planning, organising and delivering an appropriate range of training programmes and sports activities for individuals and teams.

Teaching relevant sports techniques, skills, tactics and Provide strategies to become better athletes and win competitions.

To provide a safe and enjoyable sporting environment for all students and well-organized sports programs that meet the various needs and interests of all students.

To effectively communicate the rules and procedures of the relevant sports by conducting training sessions to enable better learning

Monitoring and enhancing performance by providing training, encouragement and constructive feedback

Encourage high levels of student participation and achievement in sporting competitions, events, and recreational opportunities.

Identifying strengths and weaknesses of the athletes and develop training programmes and inspire them to overcome their weaknesses by using different types of coaching styles to add to their confidence level

To motivate the sports persons to participate in different contests to develop and prepare themselves and get an edge over the competitors

Work in conjunction with management, administrator and supporting staff to ensure that all players are supported and developed in achieving their targets.

To ensure the availability of sports goods, sports equipment’s and infrastructure as per training schedule.

To understand the strengths of the players to advice, guide and counsel the athletes on their nutrition, health, safety and the use of various sports equipment’s.

To create and plan to participate in appropriate tournament and competitions to explore athletes abilities, enhance their performance and also construct the road map to reach their desired goal.

To assess, evaluate the performance of the athletes during the training and contests

Maintain all required data’s and provide the periodical reports as required by the management.

He ensures adherence to the management policies, regulations and maintains code of conduct.

In addition, you shall perform such other duties as may be assigned by the reporting officer from time to time.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
understand the fundamentals of the Sport/game

Good organisational and time management skills.

Be in good physical condition.
Have the ability to motivate players to reach their potential.
Must have exceptional leadership skills.
Must have excellent communication skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE - Tennis Coach
- NIS or equivalent diploma in sports coaching with undergraduate degree.

Or

Certification from AITA with MPEd or BPEd graduate
- Participation in concern sports/game at State/University/National level.
- Minimum 2 yrs. of experience in Tennis coaching

**Salary**: ₹30,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
