**JOB SUMMARY**

**Roles & Responsibilities**:
Monitoring and managing 300+ production and test databases.
- Expertise in Oracle 10g,11g,12c,19c,21c on various platforms Linux, SunOS, AIX, Windows...etc. in the area of standalone as well as RAC environment database creation, database up-gradation, user management, RMAN, Export and Import utility...etc.
- Experience in Golden gate ,OEM and other Oracle tools like TOAD.
- Involved in installation, Database creation manually or by using DBCA, Database Upgradation using DBUA or manually.
- Involved in GRID and RDBMS manually patching or Patching by Opatch utility.
- Creation of databases, instances, table spaces, datafile, rollback segments.
- Creating tables, indexes, synonyms, views, profiles, constraints, triggers and procedures.
- Design and implementation of Backup & Recovery using RMAN and SQL scripts.
- Handling day-to-day DBA activities using oracle utilities and tools, monitoring space and memory requirements and memory tuning. Checking alert logs, Archive logs, Trace files and backup verification.
- Setting up Standby Database / Oracle DataGuard to protect against failures. Configured the Standby Database in such a way that the database is kept synchronized with the production Database by regularly transferring archived log files from the production server to the standby database server.
- Experience in Migration of Oracle 11g,12c database to 19c.
- Experience in installation and configuration of ORACLE RAC.
- Monitoring and managing the use of disk space, memory and connections, initializing database devices, disk creating, enlarging and removing database and transaction log. Creating and using segments, table spaces, adding and resizing data files.
- Scheduling jobs and Alerting using OEM.
- Exposure to take logical backup using oracle utility Data Pump (Expdp/ Impdp).
- User Administration
- Adding a New User, granting and revoking access resources.
- Understanding about LISTENER and configuration manually or by NETCA utility.
- Purging the trace, log, Listener log files on a regular basis.
- Generating AWR, ASSH, ADDH reports.
- Creating database links, Table spaces, and database directories.
- ASM instance monitoring for space, Adding and dropping disk in ASM instance.
- Daily Linux patching and wintel server patching, Taking DB as well as CRS down and up..
- On daily basis Incident management (IM) and Request Fulfillment (RF) as per client need.
- Converting a physical standby database into a snapshot database and vice versa.
- Basic shell scripting for export backup, database status and database shutdown and taking up.
- Maintains proper sync between primary database and standby database and when ever needed we

perform sync between both using SCN Incremental backup or restore by service.
- Experience in session monitoring, Query selection and query tuning and procedures.
- Goldengate installation, Configuration and troubleshooting various issues on Primary and ADG databases and Generating Golden gate reports and monitoring by OEM on hourly basis.
- Working on more than 30+ Goldengate servers with Classic, Integrated, Downstream configuration.
- Golden gate Installed, configured and troubleshooted various issue on ORACLE, SQL, KAFKA, Microservices Platforms.
- Proactive and efficient in timely delivery of all assignments, always enthusiastic to take up new challenges.
