**Position Overview**:
The Data Solutions Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive data solutions that integrate data systems across various projects. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise and business acumen, with a focus on transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive product and project improvements. This is an individual contributor role with 70% technical responsibilities and 30% functional responsibilities.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Business/Data Understanding**:

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and other teams to understand the objectives and data requirements of various projects.
- Identify opportunities to leverage existing data sets to meet business needs and drive strategic initiatives.
- Translate business challenges into data-driven solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

**2. Data Preparation**:

- Design and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into integrated data platforms.
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and quality of data throughout the preparation process.
- Work on optimizing data storage, retrieval processes, and data integration from multiple sources.

**3. Modeling of Data**:

- Develop and maintain data models that support the organization’s analytical and operational needs.
- Ensure data models are scalable, flexible, and capable of supporting diverse use cases across different projects.
- Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to implement these models in a way that meets both technical and business requirements.

**4. Evaluation and Stakeholder Empowerment**:

- Analyze data to generate actionable insights that align with business objectives and inform decision-making.
- Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and other visualization tools to empower stakeholders with data-driven insights.
- Provide recommendations for business strategies and product improvements based on data analysis.

**5. Continuous Improvement**:

- Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in data solutions and architecture.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve data processes, systems, and architectures to enhance business outcomes.
- Implement best practices for data management, security, and governance across all projects.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Architecture, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or a similar role.
- Expertise in designing and implementing data solutions within cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
- Proficiency in data modeling, SQL, ETL processes, and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
- Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
