We are looking for a Video Editor to join our innovative team, where creativity meets determination and a passion for storytelling. The video editor will primarily focus on editing video content for instagram, linkedin, youtube and ads for social media, and other promotional materials for campaigns.
**IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL**:
- Develop engaging video content for social media platforms to amplify the reach of our personal brand and our authors, Funny reels, ads etc.
- Implement editing techniques to make the video content more engaging such as subtitles, graphics etc
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and editorial, to ensure a cohesive and strong visual brand language.
- Ensure consistency of brand and video output across digital customer touchpoints.
**A PERFECT CANDIDATE HAS**:
- Preferably 1+ year of experience in Video editing. (Freelance work counts)
- A Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or related fields is desirable but not a strict requirement.
- Alternatively, a strong portfolio showcasing your skills and expertise can serve as an acceptable substitute for formal education
- Proficiency in Adobe premiere pro, final cut pro, instagram reels editor
- A solid understanding of best practices in content creation, someone who follows a lot of trends on reels and pop culture and popular creators like - and not limited to - Mr.Beast, Pewdiepie, Tanmay Bhatt etc.
- good understanding of memes and pop culture to implement in the edit
- A good eye for aesthetics and visual appeal of an edit
- Someone who sticks to deadlines.
