Clinical Responsibilities:
- **Diagnosis and Treatment Planning**:
- Examine patients' teeth, gums, and oral tissues.
- Diagnose dental diseases such as cavities, gum disease, or oral infections.
- Develop personalized treatment plans for patients.
- **Restorative Procedures**:
- Perform fillings, crowns, bridges, and other procedures to repair or replace damaged teeth.
- Conduct root canal treatments to save infected or decayed teeth.
- **Preventive Care**:
- Perform dental cleanings (scaling and polishing).
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices.
- **Surgical Procedures**:
- Extract teeth when necessary.
- Perform gum surgery for periodontal disease.
- Carry out oral surgeries, such as the removal of impacted teeth or dental implants.
- **Cosmetic Dentistry**:
- Perform procedures like teeth whitening, veneers, and bonding to improve the appearance of a patient’s smile.
- **Emergency Care**:
- Provide care for dental emergencies like toothaches, broken teeth, or dental trauma.
- **X-rays and Diagnostics**:
- Take and interpret dental X-rays and other diagnostic tests to assess oral health and structure.
- **Prosthodontics**:
- Fit and create dentures, partials, and other prosthetic devices to restore patients' ability to chew and speak.
Administrative and Management Duties:
- **Patient Records**:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including diagnoses, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- **Team Management**:
- Supervise and collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and office staff.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members.
- **Compliance and Safety**:
- Ensure the office complies with health and safety regulations.
- Oversee sterilization of dental instruments and cleanliness of the office environment.
- **Scheduling and Time Management**:
- Efficiently manage appointment schedules to minimize wait times and ensure smooth workflow.
- Balance the number of patients and complexity of treatments.
- **Patient Communication**:
- Discuss treatment options with patients and explain procedures, potential outcomes, and costs.
- Provide post-treatment instructions and follow-up care advice.
- **Financial Management**:
- Handle billing, insurance claims, and payment discussions, either directly or through office staff.
- **Continuing Education**:
- Stay updated on the latest dental research, techniques, and technologies to provide the best patient care.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
