Laboratory Assistant:
Who we are looking for:
Minimum 1-year experience in cell / tissue culture laboratory.

Job description: Duties will include

Knowledge of tissue culture procedures, hands-on experience with good laboratory practices and sterile techniques.

Growing in vitro and routine testing of cells, Plant/mushroom.

Maintain inventories for the laboratory.

Ensure and maintain cleanliness the smooth running of the facilities

Culture and maintenance of mushrooms which includes preparation and, sterilization of broth and culture plates, petri dishes, laboratory glass wares etc. Understanding on Controlled environment agriculture and its procedures and practices.

Participate in protocol development and process improvement programs (safety, efficiency, effectiveness)

Ensure timely completion of the microbiological analyses for all Raw Materials, Semi-Finished Goods and Finished Goods.

Systematically analyze inbound material, semi-finished and finished goods. Performs the Environmental Monitoring of the production plant and the Microbiology laboratory, maintain the records for the same.

Effectively review and implement all the group documents on timely basis.

Effectively write and implement the Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions, create Formats, as per the local requirements apart from the Group Quality Documents.

In Co-ordination with site Sanitation Specialist, support and carry out the cleaning validation of the production site as per the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) and cleaning methods implemented.

Coordinate effectively with external stakeholders to conduct relevant validations for Microbiology Laboratory, for example, Autoclave Validations, Clean Room Validation, Laminar Air Flow Validation, etc..

Coordinate effectively with relevant stakeholders to effectively implement and monitor the Environmental Monitoring Program at the Production side.

Assists to prepare and comply with the annual budget for the Microbiology Laboratory controlling expenses, making smart purchases and of benefit to the overall Laboratory structure.

Also, have been exposed to and implement ISO 17025/Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).

Works effectively in direction to comply to ISO 17025/Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and drive for Accrediting the Laboratory for NABL.

Guarantee the correct quality of the results (precision, accuracy) according to regulations by actively participating in the Ring Test/Proficiency Testing.

To support for preventive measure and implementation of effective cleaning and sanitation method and hygiene validations including HAACP.

Specific Knowledge Required

1. Quality Management Systems (latest versions of ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000)

2. Schedule I & II - FSSAI

3. HACCP certified

4. Auditing knowledge

5. Environmental Monitoring

6. Cleaning Methods

7. Well versed with Proficiency/Ring tests/ Microbiological tests.

8. Knowledge about nutritional analysis.

**Salary**: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
