**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan, prepare, and deliver **Social Studies lessons** aligned with the **CBSE curriculum** for Grades 6-8.
- Develop students' understanding of **historical events, geographical concepts, civic responsibilities, and economic principles**.
- Use **real-life examples, maps, and case studies** to make lessons interactive and relatable.
- Incorporate **project-based learning, debates, and discussions** to encourage critical thinking.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through **tests, assignments, and activities**.
- Provide **remedial support** to students who require additional help.
- Encourage students to participate in **co-curricular activities**, such as model United Nations (MUN), quizzes, and heritage clubs.
- Integrate **technology and modern teaching tools** for an enhanced learning experience.
- Maintain a **positive and disciplined** classroom environment.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and participate in **curriculum planning, workshops, and school events**.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student performance and areas for improvement.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- **Bachelor’s degree** in History/Geography/Political Science/Economics or a related field.
- **Minimum 2 years of teaching experience** in a CBSE-affiliated school (preferred).
- Strong command over **concepts of Social Studies and effective communication skills**.
- Ability to engage students through **interactive teaching methods**.
- Familiarity with **CBSE guidelines, NEP 2020 recommendations, and CCE assessment patterns** is an advantage.
- Proficiency in **classroom management** and innovative teaching strategies.
