Shift Incharge

**Role Summary**:
This role is responsible for overall Production Operation and control in the plant processes which includes quality of product, process, raw materials. He/She is also responsible for maintaining the Production quantity and quality as per the standard and also to maintain QMS/IMS documentation, Audits. This role is responsible for people management and development for the Production system.

**Roles and Responsibility**:

- Design and optimize pipe extrusion production processes with quality standards.
- Develop and implement Autonomous maintenance programs for extrusion machinery to minimize downtime and ensure reliable operation.
- Troubleshoot process parameter issues in extrusion equipment and downstream line to develop solutions to improve performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including maintenance, quality, and dispatch to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for equipment upgrades and process improvements.
- Evaluate new technologies and materials to enhance product performance and reduce manufacturing costs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards in all engineering activities.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians in pipe extrusion processes and best practices.
- Prepare technical documentation for Audit (ISO 9001), including engineering drawings, specifications and reports in SAP.
- Supervise the operator and full shift for PVC Line in Shift wise.
- To ensure production Target with target weight variation and rejection with maximum out put of machine.
- To lead for Zone leader of 5S as a lean management activity.
- Conducting of Daily Safety Tool Box Talk with team member.
- Daily safety unsafe act/condition reporting and closing at per target as per Compliance.
- To be ensure for reporting in MIS or DMS.

**Role Specific Competencies**:

- CIPET Diploma In Plastic Engineering Minimum of 7-8 years of experience within the pipe extrusion industry.
- Strong knowledge of pipe extrusion processes, equipment, and materials (e.g., PVC, HDPE).
- Experience with process optimization, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies ( **TPM, 5S, Tool Box talk, Risk assessment, PTW, JHA, ).**:

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to pipe manufacturing.
