**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute **comprehensive test strategies**, including test planning, design, and execution of test cases.
- Perform **functional, regression, and batch testing** across different system layers, including **API testing** and **database validation**.
- Write and execute **complex SQL queries** for data validation during testing activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify test requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Track and manage defects using tools like **JIRA** and ensure proper resolution.

**Technical Skills Required**:

- Proficiency in **Cypress** for UI automation testing.
- Experience with **API testing** and **database testing** using **SQL**.
- Familiarity with test management tools such as **Qtest**.
- Strong knowledge of **Agile methodologies** and testing processes in Scrum environments.

**Soft Skills**:

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in an Agile environment.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in performance testing would be a plus.
- Prior experience in the BFSI domain is desirable but not mandatory.
