Key responsibilities of a dental receptionist: Patient interaction: Greet patients upon arrival, answer phone calls, address inquiries, and provide information about dental procedures and services. Appointment scheduling: Manage patient appointments by scheduling, rescheduling, and canceling as needed, including sending appointment reminders. Insurance processing: Verify insurance benefits, complete necessary paperwork, and submit insurance claims. Patient records management: Update patient demographics, medical history, and treatment plans in the electronic dental record system. Billing and collections: Collect patient payments, manage outstanding balances, and follow up on overdue accounts. Office administration: Maintain office supplies, manage patient flow, and perform basic administrative tasks like filing and copying. Communication with dental team: Coordinate with dentists, hygienists, and dental assistants to ensure smooth patient care. Required skills for a dental receptionist: Excellent customer service skills: Ability to interact with patients in a friendly and professional manner, addressing concerns and providing helpful information. Strong organizational skills: Efficiently manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and maintain accurate patient records. Attention to detail: Accurately input patient information, verify insurance details, and ensure correct billing codes. Communication skills: Clearly communicate with patients, dental staff, and insurance companies via phone and in person. Computer proficiency: Familiarity with dental practice management software to schedule appointments, access patient records, and process insurance claims. Knowledge of dental terminology: Understanding basic dental procedures, treatment codes, and medical terminology.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
