**Job description**
- Evaluate patients' medical histories, perform physical examinations, and diagnose cardiac conditions.
- Develop treatment plans and surgical strategies tailored to individual patient needs and medical conditions.
- Perform complex surgical procedures on the heart and blood vessels, including coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), valve repair or replacement, and congenital heart defect repair.
- Manage patients' physiological responses during surgery, including anesthesia administration, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring surgical techniques adhere to safety protocols.
- Monitor patients' recovery in intensive care units (ICUs), manage post-operative complications, and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Work closely with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in teaching programs for medical students, residents, and fellows. Contribute to clinical research and academic publications to advance cardiac surgery knowledge and techniques.
