- **SDLC Knowledge**: Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall, to align testing efforts with overall project strategies.
- **Manual Testing Tools**: Experience utilizing manual testing tools (e.g., Jira, DevOps, TestRail) for effective test case management and defect tracking.
- **Non-Functional Testing**: Capability to contribute to non-functional testing efforts, including performance testing, API testing, accessibility testing, and cross-browser testing as value-added services.

**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts to ensure software quality.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software products.
- Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools, ensuring that issues are communicated effectively to the development team.
- Participate in the review of project documentation, including requirements, design specifications, and user stories to ensure testability.
- Analyze test results and provide feedback to stakeholders for continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test frameworks and tools.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
- Support the release management process by providing testing status and ensuring that releases meet quality standards.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment, participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to foster a productive and communicative engineering culture.
- Assist in mentoring and training junior team members on testing methodologies and tools.
