**Position Overview**: The school bus driver is responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, maintaining order on the bus, and ensuring the well-being of passengers during transit.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Safe Transportation**: Operate the school bus in compliance with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies. Ensure the safety of passengers at all times.
- **Route Management**: Follow assigned routes and schedules, picking up and dropping off students promptly and efficiently. Adapt routes as needed to accommodate road conditions or construction.
- **Passenger Management**: Maintain order and discipline among students during transit, enforcing safety rules and addressing any behavioral issues calmly and professionally.
- **Vehicle Maintenance**: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the school bus, checking for mechanical issues, ensuring cleanliness, and reporting any maintenance needs to appropriate authorities.
- **Emergency Preparedness**: Be prepared to handle emergencies such as accidents, breakdowns, or inclement weather situations. Follow established procedures for evacuating students and contacting emergency services if necessary.
- **Communication**: Maintain open communication with school administrators, transportation coordinators, parents, and students. Relay important information regarding schedule changes, route updates, or disciplinary matters as needed.
- **Customer Service**: Provide excellent customer service to students, parents, and school staff. Foster positive relationships and address concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with passenger (P) and school bus (S) endorsements.
- Clean driving record with no history of accidents or traffic violations.
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Ability to maintain composure and make sound decisions in stressful situations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, reliability, and a genuine concern for the safety and well-being of passengers.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the job, including sitting for extended periods, operating vehicle controls, and assisting passengers as needed.

**Education and Experience**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a certified school bus driver training program preferred.
- Previous experience as a bus driver or in a related field is advantageous but not always required.

**Working Conditions**:

- Work hours may vary depending on school schedules and extracurricular activities.
- Exposure to various weather conditions and traffic situations.
- Physical demands include sitting for long periods, maneuvering bus controls, and assisting passengers with disabilities or special needs.

Pay: From ₹16,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
