**ABOUT POLAR FIELD SERVICES, INC.**

We are a rare company. Since 1999, we've been taking our clients wherever they need to go, no matter how remote the location or challenging the conditions may be. We plan their expeditions, keep them safe in places that are anything but, and supply food, shelter, power, water, and waste removal. We then return the site to such a pristine condition no one would ever know we were there. We haven't been everywhere. Just a lot of places most people haven't.

**QUALIFICATIONS FOR A SURVEYOR**
- High school diploma or GED.
- Survey data collection programs.
- Three years of documented experience in land surveying / field engineering experience related to the construction of facilities and systems.
- Proficiency in use of 'total station data collection', Survey Software and Trimble GPS equipment and related general computer skills.
- Possession of valid and current US Passport.

**Preferred Experience**:

- Degree in surveying or Survey Technical School Certificate.
- Polar field camp experience (Arctic / Antarctic).

**WORK SCHEDULE FOR A SURVEYOR**

This remote research management position typically works **9-hour days, 6 days per week**. This is a **seasonal position**. The schedule **varies **and is **based on location, weather conditions, and work requirements**. The ability to work varied schedules, 12+ hours per day, split shifts, part-time, early mornings, evenings, and weekends is required.
