**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Material Dispensing to the patient & different department.
- The pharmacist is to explain about the drugs as and when the respective customer asks for an explanation.
- Ensure that the medications are maintained as per required temperatures and other environmental conditions.
- Ensure to avoid the stock out situations of the material.
- Ensure to keep the sufficient stock of the medicines.
- Ensure to stock out the expiry / near expiry material from the shelf.
- Ensure to liquidate the non-moving items from the pharmacy after discussion with the user department.
- Prepare the function as per the duty chart and in coordination with the stores assistant for ensuring smooth working of the department.
- Ensure and follow the principle of confidentiality of important documents and reports.
- Ensure that regular stock audit is carried out.
- Function according to established security systems in stores.
- Proper Stocking of the material in the respective locations as predetermined.

- Coordinate the process of statutory audits.
