**Job Description and Requirements**
- Requires to multi-task and solve problems. Able to schedule, prioritize, accomplish R&D-related activities and communicate actions and results as needed. Previous experience in customer support, computer operations, systems administration or another related area is required. Expertise in all aspects of UNIX system administration and experience with network operations is preferred.
- Typically required is a minimum of 3+ years of related experience. Possesses a full understanding of specialization area plus working knowledge of multiple related areas. Independently resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways on a regular basis.
- Customarily exercises independent judgment in selecting methods and techniques to obtain solutions.

**Position Requirements**:

- Design, Automate and support Linux systems and services 24*7 production environment.
- Work is independent and collaborative in nature on rotational shift by 24*7.
- Remote debug and diagnose pf server Hardware issues
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement technical solutions to meet business needs
- Collaborate with other Tech teams to solve problems and continually evolve the technology
- Prepare and maintain documentation of systems, standards, configurations, and procedures.

**Skills/Knowledge**:

- In-depth understanding of Linux operating system, including kernel, memory, process, threads, cgroups etc.
- Experience in managing and deploying various Linux based operating systems.
- Experience in Linux OS Installation through Kickstart both BareMetal and VM
- Experience on Nagios alert related issues for servers and their resolution
- Any Server Hardware issues can be diagnosed remotely
- Patching of Linux OS and kernel upgradation
- Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible.
- Experience with hypervisors (VMware/oVirt/KVM/OpenStack) provisioning and management
- Scripting skills in shell/Perl/Python
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Nagios and the ELK stackU.
- Advanced knowledge of Linux operating system.
- Ability to implement Proficient level automation tasks using bash or python.
- Proficiency in Systems Administration in Linux, experience in configuring and using hypervisors, such as KVM, Xen or ESX, knowledge of networking for virtual machines, particularly about security and performance, Knowledge of remote desktop software solutions, such as VNC, Citrix Xen server, VDI.
