We are looking for passionate and dedicated **Local Correspondents** to join our editorial team in **Calicut**. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring journalists to contribute to one of the most reputed Malayalam dailies.

**Job Location**: Calicut

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Report and write accurate, engaging, and timely news stories from the local region.
- Cover events, press conferences, and community developments with journalistic integrity.
- Build and maintain contacts with sources to gather authentic information.
- Contribute feature articles and special reports as assigned by the editorial team.
- Work closely with the newsroom to ensure consistent and high-quality content delivery.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or related field.
- OR proven experience as a journalist, reporter, or correspondent.
- Strong writing, communication, and analytical skills in Malayalam.
- Good understanding of local culture, issues, and community happenings in Calicut.
