**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and promote student learning.
- Utilize various teaching methodologies, including instructional design and learning technology, to enhance classroom experiences.
- Foster a positive learning environment through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies.
- Assess student progress through standardized testing, tutoring, and individualized feedback.
- Provide mentorship and academic advising to students, helping them navigate their educational paths.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, including the integration of creative writing and journalism components.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and participation in library services or special education programs as needed.
- Engage in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in literacy education and higher education teaching.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Experience working with students in a classroom setting, preferably in private schools or Montessori environments.
- Strong writing skills with proficiency in AP style, Chicago Manual of Style, copy editing, proofreading, and research methodologies.
- Familiarity with linguistics and literacy education principles is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage classrooms and support diverse learning needs through differentiated instruction.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Strong organizational skills for lesson planning, curriculum development, and administration tasks related to education management.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
