**### Job Description: Production Chemist (Pharmaceuticals)**

**Position Title**: Production Chemist**

**### **Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. **Production & Process Management**:

- Operate and maintain production equipment for the synthesis, formulation, and packaging of pharmaceutical products.
- Prepare raw materials, monitor batch processes, and ensure compliance with SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Assist in scaling up and optimizing production processes for new pharmaceutical products.
- Collaborate with the R&D and QA departments to ensure smooth transition of processes from laboratory to commercial-scale production.

**2. **Quality Control & Compliance**:

- Conduct in-process testing of raw materials, intermediate, and finished products to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
- Perform stability studies, analyze test results, and document findings according to company protocols.
- Ensure that production records are complete, accurate, and in compliance with regulatory standards (FDA, EMA, etc.).
- Support the investigation and resolution of any quality issues, deviations, or non-conformance reports.

**3. **Safety & Documentation**:

- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of production batches, including equipment logs, inventory, and testing results.
- Prepare detailed reports of production activities, batch records, and process improvements.

**4. **Collaboration & Continuous Improvement**:

- Work closely with other departments (Quality Assurance, R&D, Engineering) to implement process improvements and troubleshoot issues.
- Participate in regular team meetings to review production targets, performance metrics, and quality standards.
- Continuously look for opportunities to optimize production processes, reduce costs, and improve productivity.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- **Educational Background**:

- Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical.
- A Master's degree or specialization in Pharmaceutical Production is a plus.
**- **Experience**:

- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in pharmaceutical production or manufacturing, preferably in an FDA or GMP-regulated environment.
- Hands-on experience with pharmaceutical equipment, such as reactors, mixers, granulators, and tablet presses.
**- **Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong knowledge of GMP, GLP, and regulatory requirements (FDA, EMA, ICH guidelines).
- Proficiency in analytical techniques (HPLC, UV-VIS, titration, etc.) and laboratory instrumentation.
- Ability to manage and troubleshoot production processes effectively.
- Strong attention to detail, with excellent documentation and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

**### **Working Conditions**:

- Adherence to health and safety protocols is essential.
- Shift work / Overtime may be required depending on production demands.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
