Accessories Planning & Procurement:
Identify accessory requirements from BOM (Bill of Materials) received from the merchandising team.

Prepare accessory purchase plans based on order quantity and timelines.

Vendor Management:
Source, evaluate, and develop suppliers for trims and accessories (e.g., buttons, zippers, threads, labels, tags, tapes, laces).

Negotiate price, delivery timelines, payment terms, and quality standards.

Maintain and update the approved vendor list.

Order Placement & Follow-up:
Raise purchase orders (POs) in ERP/software and send them to suppliers.

Track orders to ensure timely delivery to avoid production delays.

Coordinate with the store and quality team for accessory inward and inspection.

Costing & Budgeting:
Ensure cost-effective sourcing within the approved cost sheet.

Monitor accessory cost trends and suggest alternatives for cost reduction.

Inventory & Documentation:
Maintain records of purchase orders, delivery schedules, invoices, and supplier agreements.

Monitor stock levels of frequently used accessories to avoid shortages or excess.

Quality Assurance:
Ensure accessories meet quality standards as per buyer or internal specifications.

Coordinate with QA team for sample approvals and testing when required.

Coordination:
Liaise with the merchandising, production, stores, and accounts departments.

Provide regular status updates to internal teams regarding pending deliveries and stock availability.

Key Skills Required:
Strong negotiation and communication skills

Knowledge of garment accessories and production timelines

Familiarity with ERP or purchase management systems

Vendor development and market knowledge

Analytical and planning skills

Attention to detail

Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Graduate in any stream (preferably B.Com, BBA); MBA or Diploma in Supply Chain or Textile preferred

Experience: 2-5 years (executive level); 5+ years (managerial level) in garments or têxtile industry

Typical Accessories Managed:
Buttons, zippers, threads, labels, hangtags, hooks, elastics, tapes, eyelets, interlining, laces, stickers, and packaging items.

Pay: ₹12,264.68 - ₹25,000.00 per month
