Key Responsibilities (KRAs):
1. Audio Transcription:
○ Listen to audio recordings and transcribe content into text files accurately.

○ Ensure adherence to specific formatting and notation requirements as provided by the project guidelines.

2. Quality Assurance:
○ Review grammar, punctuation, and spelling to ensure quality before submission.

○ Identify and promptly correct errors or inaccuracies in transcriptions.

3. Annotation and Metadata Tagging:
○ Annotate audio recordings with appropriate metadata, including speaker identificationand timestamps where required.

4. Tool Usage and Optimization:
○ Stay updated with the latest transcription software and tools.

○ Suggest and recommend enhancements to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.

5. Skill Maintenance and Development:
○ Maintain sharp typing skills by participating in regular typing drills.

○ Actively participate in training sessions to stay updated with industry best practices.

6. Collaboration:
○ Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure deliverables align with qualityand timeline expectations.

○ Communicate effectively with supervisors and teammates to resolve queries andbottlenecks.Key

Performance Indicators (KPIs):
1. Accuracy:
○ Transcription quality with less than 2% error rate.

○ Adherence to project-specific formatting guidelines.

2. Productivity:
○ Achieve daily and weekly transcription targets consistently.

3. Timeliness:
○ Submit transcriptions within the agreed deadlines without compromising quality.

4. Collaboration:
○ Proactively participate in feedback loops and address corrections effectively.

5. Adaptability:

- Basic linguistic knowledge with fluency in any of the required languages (Punjabi Or Marathi, ).
- Proven ability to type quickly and accurately, with excellent proofreading skills.
- Strong command of grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Excellent verbal communication, listening, and computer proficiency.
- Ability to work independently and consistently meet deadlines.
- Multitasking ability and flexibility to adapt to diverse requirements.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Windows operating system and transcription tools.
- Attention to detail, research, comprehension, and flexibility.
