**Position Summary**:
The Quality Control Chemist is responsible for performing analytical testing, ensuring product quality, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations. This role includes developing and validating testing methods, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with other departments to ensure the consistent quality of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Analytical Testing**:

- Perform a wide range of routine and non-routine tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
- Utilize standard laboratory techniques and instrumentation (e.g., HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, etc.) for quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Interpret and document test results, ensuring proper calibration and maintenance of equipment.
- **Method Development and Validation**:

- Assist in the development, validation, and optimization of analytical methods for new products or processes.
- Perform method validation and troubleshooting in compliance with GMP and regulatory guidelines.
- **Compliance and Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate and thorough records of test procedures, results, and reports in accordance with GMP, GLP, and SOP requirements.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals and reagents according to safety and environmental regulations.
- Assist in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards such as FDA, ISO, or EPA.
- **Quality Control Support**:

- Support product release decisions and troubleshoot quality issues in the manufacturing process.
- Assist in identifying root causes of product defects and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Review and analyze trends in testing results to recommend process improvements.
- **Safety and Laboratory Maintenance**:

- Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Monitor the performance of laboratory equipment and perform routine maintenance or coordinate repairs as needed.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with production, regulatory, and research and development teams to ensure the highest product quality.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to improve processes and resolve quality-related issues.

**Qualifications**:
**Education & Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a quality control or laboratory setting is preferred (1-3 years).
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical, chemical, or biotechnology industry regulations (GMP, GLP, FDA, etc.) is a plus.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
