Formulation Chemist

developing and optimizing product formulations, often in industries like **Agriculture Fertilizer, Micro nutrient, Animal Nutrition & Feed Supplement and Sericulture Disinfectant**, ensuring they meet specific requirements and standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Formulate new products and improve existing formulations by evaluating raw materials, conducting stability studies, and performing compatibility testing
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation of formulation procedures, including batch records, standard operating procedures, and quality control records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and quality assurance, to ensure timely and successful commercialization of new products
- Conduct thorough analysis of data and provide recommendations to management regarding optimization of formulations, processes, and equipment
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements related to formulation development, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including HPLC, GC, and UV-Vis spectrophotometers, and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Train and mentor junior formulators and laboratory technicians, providing guidance and support as needed
- Participate in ongoing process improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in formulating products, preferably in the **Agriculture Fertilizer, Micro nutrient, Animal Nutrition & Feed Supplement and Sericulture Disinfectant** industry
- Strong knowledge of raw materials, their properties and interactions
- Ability to develop and optimize formulations for various product types, including creams, lotions, serums, etc.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and guidelines for product formulation and labeling
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: ₹8,637.65 - ₹36,930.15 per month
