**Job Summary**:
The Commis Chef (Commis 1 & 2) plays a vital role in the Food & Beverage kitchen operations. Working under the guidance of senior chefs, the Commis assists in the preparation and production of high-quality dishes, ensuring food safety, hygiene, and consistency are maintained. Commis 1 may take on more advanced cooking responsibilities and guide junior staff (Commis 2).

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support daily kitchen operations across various F&B outlets (restaurant, banquet, in-room dining, etc.).
- Prepare ingredients for cooking (cleaning, chopping, marinating, etc.).
- Assist in cooking and presentation of dishes according to recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure all mise en place is completed in time for service.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all kitchen areas according to HACCP and company guidelines.
- Store food items properly and check expiry dates to minimize waste.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and report any malfunctions.
- Follow food safety procedures at every stage of food handling.
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries following FIFO (First In, First Out) method.
- Work collaboratively with other team members and support multiple kitchen sections as needed.
- Maintain professional behavior and grooming in line with company standards.

**Additional Responsibilities for Commis 1**:

- Take charge of a specific kitchen station (e.g., grill, cold kitchen, sauces).
- Ensure junior staff (Commis 2, trainees) are trained on basic preparation and hygiene standards.
- Assist the Chef de Partie in planning and organizing food production.
- Ensure portion control and minimize food waste during service.

**Requirements**:

- Culinary degree/diploma or equivalent experience in a professional kitchen.
- Commis 1: Minimum 1-2 years of relevant kitchen experience.
- Commis 2: Entry-level or up to 1 year of kitchen experience.
- Basic knowledge of F&B operations and culinary techniques.
- Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols (HACCP).
- Strong willingness to learn and grow within the kitchen team.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced F&B environment.
- Flexible with shifts, including weekends and holidays.

**Work Conditions**:

- Standing for long hours in hot kitchen environments.
- Rotational shifts and availability during peak service hours.
- Exposure to sharp tools, hot surfaces, and cleaning agents

Pay: ₹8,375.53 - ₹38,407.16 per month
