Counter Sales Executive

- An individual doing a counter sales job is responsible for handling all sales functions in a manner that is professional enough for the customers.
- They should also provide quick and efficient service to obtain maximum sales and also focus on customer satisfaction.
- Should be excellent while providing service to its customers.
- They should respond to any queries and give every information that a customer needs.

**Responsibilities**
- Should assist the customers at the counter with their queries and at the same time provide them with the resolution effectively.
- Should ask questions and provide relevant information to the customers that they might need and then list down the orders which the customers might purchase thereby providing them with excellent service.
- Must treat all customers with respect and courtesy.
- Should mention every record in the computer including customer details and customer orders, pricing, and quotations, and should be able to retrieve it whenever needed.
- Need to follow up on the orders that the customer makes and should be upbeat while resolving problems and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Should provide quotes of various quotes which are appropriate.
- Should also update the product details with any of the resources working continuously.
- Keep yourself updated with the product inventory and its functionality.
- Communicate effectively with the customers regarding any relevant procedures and policies which might be beneficial to them.
- Must check the quantity and the quality of the product which is brought into the warehouse, need to verify it depending on the order made initially.
- Ensure that each product is stacked as per its location in the warehouse and organize it effectively.
- Should ensure that they follow each safety rule assigned.
- Should be active enough to inform the manager of any potential harmful condition.
- Perform inspections of the delivery vehicle whenever required.

**Skills**
- Should be able to read and write simple directions or instructions in English.
- Should also be able to speak and understand English so that the customers won't find it hard to communicate.
- Should meet the physical requirements of the job like lifting heavy weights, bending, crawling, etc. as this job demands more activity.

**Education**
- Languages Preferred: Hindi, English, Telugu & Kannada

**Salary**

The average salary of a counter sales representative is about ₹ 12000-15000 per month

We were doing well with our homemade mommy-granny pickles and our customers asked “Why don’t you try to share and supply us with our childhood memories?” We were shocked and then our customer said, by tasting our pickles, he got to remember the taste of his granny’s pickles from childhood and so the nostalgic memories turned back in his life. Wait It doesn’t stop there. We thought let’s bring back even more memories to all our customers by offering exotic and rare fruits & flowers too. These so-called exotic varieties were street fruits & flowers which vendors used to sell in our days. We started offering products like Thati Munjalu, Thati Tegalu, Regi Pallu, Eetha Pallu, Kale Kayalu, Bikki Kayalu, and many more. This generation might not have even heard of a few of these fruits, but we used to buy them in front of our school gates every day, Didn’t we, Happy Customers?
