Job Title: Gynecology Nurse

Job Summary:
As a Gynecology Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing specialized nursing care to female patients across their reproductive lifespan. You will work closely with gynecologists, obstetricians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive gynecological services and support. Your primary responsibilities will involve patient assessment, education, treatment, and emotional support to ensure optimal gynecological health and well-being.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of female patients, including obtaining medical histories, vital signs, and specific gynecological concerns. Perform physical examinations, pelvic examinations, and Pap smears as required.

2. Gynecological Procedures: Assist gynecologists in various procedures such as colposcopy, endometrial biopsies, intrauterine device (IUD) insertion/removal, and other gynecological interventions.

3. Reproductive Health Education: Educate patients on reproductive health topics, including family planning options, contraceptive methods, menstrual health, and preventive measures against sexually transmitted infections.

4. Prenatal Care: Provide support and monitoring for pregnant women during their prenatal visits, offering guidance on prenatal care, nutrition, and potential complications.

5. Menopause Management: Assist menopausal women in understanding the physical and emotional changes related to menopause and provide guidance on symptom management and hormone replacement therapy when appropriate.

6. Family Planning Counseling: Offer comprehensive counseling on family planning methods, considering individual preferences and health conditions.

7. Health Promotion: Encourage healthy lifestyle choices and preventive practices to optimize overall gynecological health in women.

8. Medication Administration: Administer medications, vaccines, and hormonal therapies as prescribed by healthcare providers.

9. Emotional Support: Offer emotional support and a compassionate approach to patients during sensitive gynecological exams or when discussing personal health issues.

10. Patient Records and Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, assessments, treatments, and procedures performed.

11. Infection Control: Follow strict infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for patient care.

12. Collaboration: Collaborate with other healthcare team members, including physicians, nurses, and support staff, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.

13. Continual Learning: Stay updated with the latest advancements and best practices in gynecology and women's health care through ongoing education and professional development.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Specialization or certification in gynecology nursing is preferred.
- Prior experience in gynecology, obstetrics, or women's health care is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of gynecological conditions, treatments, and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to provide sensitive and empathetic care in emotionally charged situations.
- Proficiency in using medical equipment and technology relevant to gynecology nursing practice.

**Salary**: ₹8,086.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
