Legal Internship

We are seeking highly motivated and talented interns to join our legal team as Corporate Legal Interns. As a Corporate Legal Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience and exposure in various areas of corporate law, including deal advisory, drafting Shareholder Agreements (SHA), Employee Stock Option Plans (ESOP), and other legal agreements. This internship will provide you with a unique opportunity to work closely with experienced legal professionals and contribute to real-world legal matters in a fast-paced corporate environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Deal Advisory: Assist in conducting due diligence on potential mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions. Collaborate with the legal team to analyze legal risks, review contracts, and provide legal advice and recommendations.
- Drafting Shareholder Agreements (SHA): Contribute to the drafting and review of SHA documents, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Assist in negotiating and finalizing agreements with shareholders and other stakeholders.
- Employee Stock Option Plans (ESOP): Support the legal team in drafting and reviewing ESOP agreements, including stock option grants, vesting schedules, and related documents. Assist in ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies.
- Legal Agreements: Collaborate with the legal team to draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal agreements, such as non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), service agreements, and licensing agreements. Help ensure that these agreements are in line with legal requirements and protect the company's interests.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct legal research on various corporate law topics, including corporate governance, securities regulations, and contract law. Assist in preparing legal memos, summaries, and presentations to support decision-making processes.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Assist in organizing and maintaining legal documents, contracts, and other records. Support the legal team in updating and managing the company's legal database and knowledge repository.

**Requirements**:

- Currently pursuing a law degree or recently graduated with a law degree.
- Strong academic background with a focus on corporate law.
- Familiarity with relevant corporate legal principles, including contract law, corporate governance, and securities regulations.
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in using legal research tools and databases.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Previous internship or work experience in a corporate legal department or law firm is a plus.
