French Teacher

Aves Art Café is a unique space that blends art, culture, and education. Our café serves as a vibrant hub for creative expression, offering art workshops, language classes, and cultural experiences for students of all ages. We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated **French Teacher** to join our team and contribute to our language arts program.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Teach French** to students ranging from beginners to advanced levels, including children, teenagers, and adults.
- Design and implement engaging lesson plans that integrate interactive teaching methods, including conversation practice, grammar, and vocabulary.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of students with varying language proficiency levels.
- Conduct assessments to track student progress and adjust instruction as needed.
- Promote a culturally rich learning environment that encourages students to appreciate French language and culture.
- Provide one-on-one tutoring and personalized feedback for students when necessary.
- Prepare students for French language exams and certifications (e.g., DELF/DALF).
- Collaborate with the Aves Art Café team to participate in cultural events, workshops, and themed activities related to French language and culture.
- Maintain a positive, motivating, and inspiring classroom environment.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in French, Linguistics, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Certification in French language teaching (e.g., DELF, DALF, TEF) preferred.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience teaching French to various age groups and proficiency levels.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.
- Passion for teaching and ability to inspire students to develop a love for the French language and culture.
- Experience with interactive and student-centered teaching methods.
- Knowledge of French culture and ability to integrate cultural elements into the curriculum.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a creative environment.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Familiarity with language teaching tools and technologies, including virtual platforms if needed.
- Creative teaching techniques, including the use of art, music, films, and multimedia to enhance language learning.
- Experience in organizing and participating in language and cultural events.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple classes and students of different ages and levels.
