Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the creative team and stakeholders to understand project objectives, target audience, and messaging.
- Create storyboards, animatics, and visual representations to illustrate concepts and ideas.
- Develop and animate 2D and/or 3D graphics, characters, and objects to bring ideas to life.
- Edit raw footage, incorporating animation, visual effects, sound, and music to produce high-quality videos.
- Trim and rearrange footage segments to ensure smooth transitions and a cohesive narrative.
- Select and integrate appropriate audio and visual elements to enhance the overall impact of the video.
- Ensure consistency of style, tone, and branding across all videos.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and software advancements to continuously improve skills and stay ahead of the competition.
- Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to understand the objectives and key messages for the reel.
- Incorporate motion graphics, text overlays, sound effects, and music to enhance the impact of the reel.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Multimedia, Animation, Film Production, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Video Animation and Editor, showcasing a strong portfolio of past projects.
- Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Extensive knowledge of animation software such as Adobe After Effects, Autodesk Maya, or Cinema 4D.
- Solid understanding of video formats, codecs, resolutions, and compression techniques.
- Ability to create engaging 2D and/or 3D animations from scratch or adapt existing assets.
- Strong storytelling skills, with the ability to create compelling narratives through visual storytelling.
- Excellent attention to detail and a critical eye for composition, color, and visual aesthetics.
- Strong knowledge of post-production techniques, including color grading, motion graphics, and visual effects.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, accepting and providing constructive feedback.
- Effective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with motion capture technology and techniques.
- Knowledge of sound design principles and audio editing software.
- Familiarity with 3D modeling and texturing.
- Understanding of different video platforms and their specific requirements (e.g., social media, web, broadcast).
- Proven experience as a Reel Maker, showcasing a strong portfolio of past reel projects.
- Basic graphic design skills for creating custom graphics or title cards.
- Familiarity with different video formats and platforms, optimizing the reel accordingly.
