**About Chhanv Foundation**

**Chhanv Foundation** is a non-profit organization dedicated to the rehabilitation and empowerment of **acid attack survivors** across India. Through initiatives like **Sheroes Hangout Café** and **Sheroes Store**, the Foundation creates dignified livelihood opportunities while promoting awareness, advocacy, and inclusion. Sheroes is a survivor-led space that celebrates resilience, creativity, and the spirit of rebuilding lives through meaningful work and social change.

The **Handicraft Trainer / Sheroes Store Coordinator** will play a dual role in supporting both the creative and operational aspects of the Sheroes Hangout Store. This position involves training and mentoring survivor artisans in various handicrafts, ensuring smooth store operations, and facilitating workshops that promote skill development, creativity, and financial independence. The role demands empathy, creativity, and coordination to uphold Sheroes’ mission of empowerment and inclusive livelihood.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Store Operations & Inventory Support**
- Support daily store activities, ensuring attractive product displays and well-maintained storage areas.
- Assist in packaging, labeling, and dispatching physical and online orders.
- Track inventory, update stock records, and maintain order logs under the guidance of the Store Manager Associate.

**2. Production Assistance & Artisan Coordination**
- Participate in the production of store items, including embroidery, painting, stitching, candle-making, and baking.
- Manage raw materials, supplies, and tools to ensure smooth production workflows.
- Conduct quality checks and report inconsistencies to the Store Manager.
- Coordinate with survivor artisans to ensure timely and organized production.

**3. Handicraft Training & Skill Development**
- **Provide hands-on handicraft training** to survivor artisans in crafts such as crochet, embroidery, card making, decorative art, and stitching.
- Design and deliver structured training modules that focus on creativity, finishing, and market relevance.
- Guide artisans in developing new designs and saleable products aligned with Sheroes’ brand identity.
- Offer personalized mentoring to help artisans build confidence, skill proficiency, and leadership abilities.

**4. Workshop Facilitation**
- Plan and conduct regular skill-building workshops on Bakery, Card Making, Crochet, and other creative crafts.
- Collaborate with internal and external trainers as needed.
- Prepare materials, ensure smooth coordination, and foster an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- Encourage active participation and innovation among survivor artisans.

**5. Customer Interaction & Order Processing**
- Greet and assist walk-in customers at the store or café politely and professionally.
- Manage customer orders received through WhatsApp, Instagram, phone calls, or in-person visits.
- Address order-related queries and coordinate communication and delivery updates.

**6. Documentation & Reporting**
- Maintain accurate daily records, including order registers, delivery logs, artisan attendance, and workshop participation.
- Contribute to weekly/monthly reports on production progress, store performance, and artisan involvement.
- Document workshop outcomes, new designs, and skill improvements for internal reference and planning.

**Qualifications & Skills**
- Background in **handicrafts, design, or creative arts** preferred.
- Experience in **training, artisan facilitation, or livelihood skill programs** is desirable.
- Basic knowledge of **store management, inventory handling, and quality control**.
- Strong **organizational, communication, and interpersonal** skills.
- Empathetic approach and ability to work in a **survivor-led, inclusive, and collaborative** environment.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
