**Process Overview**

Wholesale Risk Analytics (WRA) provides decision support services to enable our banking and markets, wealth management, capital management and credit risk business partners to manage risk well. To accomplish this, we build, develop and maintain models for risk and loss measurement. Additionally, we produce and administer forecasts supporting allowance and stress-testing both domestically (US) and internationally. Our teams complement each other and benefit from broad and diverse employment and experience within industries including government, academia, finance, law, consulting and the military. **Job Description**

The Scorecard Ongoing Monitoring Report (OMR) team performs essential analytical monitoring of the bank’s commercial credit models by analyzing the models’ historical back testing performance, portfolio demographic shifts, stress testing, and other critical outcomes for ensuring sound model management. The team’s main functions can be categorized as data analytics/research and risk reporting/presentation, with a high degree of cross-team coordination around data management and modeling techniques.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop machine learning models ( Logistic Regression, Linear Regression, Decision Trees and Timeseries)
- Perform model development proof of concept, research model methodology, explore internal & external data sources, design model development data, and develop preliminary model
- Deliver model performance reports to Model Risk Management (MRM), regulators, senior business leaders, and other stakeholders regarding the health of the Bank’s internal commercial scorecard models
- Conduct extensive data research to investigate potential reporting anomalies or support new analytical capabilities
- Collaborate with peers in the development of new reporting and analytics as required by MRM or partner groups
- Identify and resolve process improvement opportunities across the team
- Liaise with technology groups on data infrastructure enhancements
- Develop knowledge capital and presentations to facilitate awareness of analytical processes

- Advanced knowledge of Python programming in order to develop models and analyze large datasets efficiently
- Good understanding of machine learning concepts
- Strong communication and project management skills in order to collaborate with other groups such as Model Development, MRM, and Business/Technology teams on various data analytics efforts
- Intermediate SQl/SAS knowledge throughout the data lifecycle (e.g. data sourcing, aggregation, transformation, analysis, reporting) for assisting with the team’s code migration from SAS to Python
- Knowledge of good data management principles in order to further build out the team’s capabilities, including implementation of data
