**Job Title: Senior Datacenter Administrator**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage and maintain **VMware** infrastructure, encompassing multiple ESX hosts and virtual servers.
- Deploy, configure, and optimize **VxRail** and **Nutanix** hyper-converged infrastructure solutions.
- Provision, configure, and manage file servers, SQL servers, and database servers to support business operations.
- Provide support for virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solutions such as **AVD** (Azure Virtual Desktop) and Citrix.
- Systems **Monitoring** - DataDog and ServiceNow Event Manager monitoring and alerting systems for issues. This will also include monitoring the cloud-based infrastructure and any upcoming tools. Taking appropriate action on the issues. Run and review daily reports to identify and rectify problems as required.
- **Backup**/DR ownership and support - Monitor backup consoles Druva/Rubrik for failed jobs and execute remediation plans. Monitor DR compliance. Test Backup and Recovery of global systems through Zerto/ASR.
- **Patching** - Monthly patching of servers and vulnerability remediation of Windows, Linux, Sandbox, Bastion hosts, AWS/Azure hosted servers via Tanium template patching
- **Certificate** Management: Public/Private IIS internal CA, Digicerts
- Participate in changes focused on datacenters and local offices infrastructure, reviewing proposed changes, planning implementation, and ensuring smooth execution.
- Perform **Upgrades**: VMware, Nutanix, and DataDog. Firmware, Tableau, Alteryx, Citrix Netscaler, and VxRail.
- Assist in decommissioning and removal of infrastructure components, ensuring proper disposal and documentation.
- Maintain elevation sheets and documentation for infrastructure layouts and configurations to support planning and troubleshooting activities.

**Knowledge, Skillset**:

- _Solid knowledge of administering Windows and Linux Servers._
- _Sound understanding of Active Directory/DNS _
- _Experience with _**PowerShell**_ _Scripting, Terraform, _**Ansible**_, MS SQL Servers, VMWare _**vSphere**_._
- _Demonstrated practical knowledge of _**VxRail, VMware, Nutanix, DataDog, Tanium, Druva/Rubrik, AVD**_
- _Demonstrated knowledge if iSCSI SAN and other storage technologies_

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5-8 years of hands-on experience in managing and maintaining complex data center infrastructure, encompassing both remote and on-premises setups.
- Proficiency in **VMware, VxRail, Nutanix, and backup/disaster recovery solutions.**:

- Strong understanding of virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) and high-speed data transfer technologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a proven ability to work effectively across global teams.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- **Relevant certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP), or equivalent are a plus.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
