Key Responsibilities:

- **Supervision and Coordination**:

- Supervises and coordinates the activities of vehicle maintenance personnel.
- Assigns work, including scheduled, non-scheduled, and emergency repairs.
- Provides hands-on supervision of technicians.
- Ensures timely completion of work and adherence to safety procedures.
- **Maintenance and Repair**:

- Participates in major and minor mechanical repairs.
- Diagnoses internal combustion engine maintenance problems.
- Diagnoses and supervises repairs of mechanical defects.
- Establishes and implements shop safety policies and procedures.
- **Planning and Scheduling**:

- Determines priorities for work orders and assigns them to personnel.
- Plans, organizes, and schedules work flow of employees.
- Develops and implements maintenance schedules to optimize vehicle uptime.
- **Inventory and Budget**:

- Initiates requisitions for materials and equipment.
- Maintains adequate inventory of parts, equipment, and supplies.
- Collaborates with management to develop budget plans for maintenance operations.
- **Training and Evaluation**:

- Conducts in-service training programs for employees.
- Assists in the selection, training, and evaluation of employees.
- Provides feedback and recommends disciplinary action or promotion as appropriate.
- **Record Keeping and Reporting**:

- Maintains records and reports as necessary.
- Captures relevant issues, metrics, and KPI values for shift reports.
- Ensures all relevant information is captured in a timely fashion in maintenance management systems (e.g., MAXIMO/GSI).
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Ensures compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Corrects and documents safety incidents and hazards.
- Investigates incidents and develops corrective actions.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
