### Bakery Master Job Description

**Position Title**: Bakery Master

**Reports To**: Bakery Manager/Owner

**Summary**:
The Bakery Master is responsible for overseeing the entire baking process, from the preparation of dough to the final product. This role involves creating new recipes, ensuring quality control, managing baking staff, and maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Baking Operations**:

- Prepare, bake, and decorate a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods.
- Ensure all baked goods are produced according to the highest standards of quality and consistency.
- Monitor the baking process and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal results.

2. **Recipe Development**:

- Create and test new recipes to expand the bakery's product offerings.
- Adjust existing recipes to improve quality or accommodate dietary restrictions.

3. **Quality Control**:

- Maintain the highest standards of hygiene and food safety in the kitchen.
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure all products meet the bakery's standards.
- Oversee the proper storage and rotation of ingredients to minimize waste.

4. **Staff Management**:

- Train and supervise baking staff, providing guidance and feedback to ensure high performance.
- Schedule shifts and assign tasks to ensure smooth operation of the bakery.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.

5. **Inventory and Supplies**:

- Manage inventory of baking ingredients and supplies, placing orders as needed.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and in good working order.

6. **Customer Interaction**:

- Interact with customers to take special orders, provide recommendations, and address concerns.
- Ensure customer satisfaction with the bakery's products and services.

7. **Administrative Duties**:

- Keep accurate records of baking schedules, inventory levels, and ingredient usage.
- Assist in pricing baked goods and maintaining updated product lists.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; formal culinary education preferred.
- Proven experience as a baker or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients.
- Creative and able to develop new recipes.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.

**Work Environment**:

- Commercial bakery or kitchen setting.
- Standing for extended periods, lifting heavy bags of flour and other ingredients, and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Exposure to hot ovens and sharp equipment.

The Bakery Master plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of the bakery by delivering high-quality baked goods and maintaining efficient and productive kitchen operations. This position requires a blend of creativity, technical skill, and leadership to meet the bakery's goals and satisfy customers.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹29,999.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Fixed shift

Supplemental pay types:
