**_Job Profile_**:
Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement epidemiological studies to evaluate the health effects of environmental exposures, such as air pollution, water contamination, hazardous waste, climate change, and disaster.
- Conduct literature reviews and develop research proposals
- Design and implement epidemiological studies to investigate the health effects of environmental exposures
- Collect and analyze data using appropriate statistical methods.
- Interpret and communicate study findings to a variety of audiences, including researchers, policymakers, and the general public.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that study designs are appropriate and feasible.
- Develop and maintain expertise in current and emerging environmental health and epidemiology issues.
- Develop grant proposals and secure funding for research projects.
- Write and publish manuscripts in scientific journals and present research findings at conferences and meetings.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff and students.

Essential Qualification
- Masters degree in Statistics/Environmental Science/Public Health or related fields with published work in the field of environmental epidemiology

Desirable qualification
- Ph.D. degree in Statistics/Environmental Science/Public Health/Environmental Epidemiology, MD degree in community medicine or related fields
- Experience in conducting and leading epidemiological research.
- Strong quantitative skills and experience with statistical software (e.g., R, SAS, STATA)
- Experience with GIS and spatial analysis is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong grant writing and proposal development skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
