**What role you will play in our team**:

- The PS&RA (product stewardship & regulatory affairs) operation advisor, as part of the global product stewardship & regulatory affairs group in EM product solution organization, has responsibility to support or conduct product stewardship and regulatory affair activities in India analysis center (IAC) for the compliance of ExxonMobil products as instructed by the PS&RA operation hub supervisor.
- The position incumbent is furthermore preparing flawless and adequate communication to internal and external customers on product safety related topics.
- Transferring of PS&RA activities moved from IAC to manage service provider (msp) and potential check for automation as well as simplification of tasks is another important part of the role.
- The PS&RA operation advisor will be located in the IAC, Bangalore and will carry out a high number of operational and analytic product stewardship activities, including, but not limited to e.g. The following: product registrations, product management of change, shared mailbox management, regulatory impact assessment as well as safety data sheets distribution checks.
- Overtime some of these activities may be outsourced to msp if feasible.
- The PS&RA operation advisor functionally and administratively reports to the PS&RA operation hub supervisor likewise located in IAC.

**What you will do**:

- Conducts impact assessments of regulatory changes to find out impact of these changes on our products
- Transferring of activities to MSP where feasible
- Manages shared mailboxes to ensure competent and prompt feedback on regulatory questions to our customers
- Checks safety data sheet distribution reports and initiates corrective actions in case of issues
- Supports provision of tailor-made communication to internal and external customers
- Adds local regulations for several countries to finalize dedicated safety data sheets
- Processes product management of change requests for the Chemicals business
- Perform product registrations in national registers
- Conducts sales volume and GHS reporting for several countries to authority websites
- Analyzes needs for poison center updates and processes them
- Manages several data bases for e.g. other representative agreements or REACH registrations

**About you**:
**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering or equivalent degree/work experience.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in product stewardship & regulatory affairs.
- Good command in English language (written and spoken) and computer literacy.
- Experience in product stewardship.
- Experience in using MS office tools incl. MS Excel
- Willing to work independently in diverse virtual global team.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing work priorities.
- Product knowledge from fuel and/or chemical industries as well as product stewardship experience would be beneficial -Working under time pressure to ensure meeting authority deadlines.
