This role reports to the Software Engineering Manager and is located in Pune

What you will do
- Collaborates with business product management on the prioritization of features and capabilities
- Develop scope and define backlog items (Epic/features/UserStories) that guide the Agile software development team.
- Work with system architecture to understand enabler work.
- Works with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders, including analytics, design/user experience, engineering, and user enablement.
- Work with product manager and translates product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.
- Work with Engineering team to review the product development and ensure developed function matches acceptance criteria.
- Leads the product functional design process based on an intimate knowledge of the users and technology.
- Solve product related problems with Product Manager, make decisions, complete trade-off analysis to stay on track towards business deliverable commitments.
- Work along-side UX-UI designers to deliver the best user experience.

- Coordinates with Product Managers and Stakeholders in planning meetings
- Coordinates program efforts under architectural and portfolio governance
- Helps to create a culture of openness, honesty, and transparency
- Maintains a positive demeanor during periods of uncertainty, pressure, and conflict
- Acts as a model for addressing conflict and barriers to collaboration
- Demonstrates servant leadership, facilitating and coaching rather than directing
- Works to empower teams and individuals

Minimal qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in Software Development industry.
- At least 2 year of experience in Product Management.

Preferred qualifications
- Visualization: Knowledge of principles/best practice of data visualization
- Presentation skills: Good skills on how to simplify complex stories through presentations
and visualizations
- Significant experience in BI Data projects, data preparation and database technology.
- Well-versed in BI/Analytics delivery
- Good understanding of object oriented design programming
- Should be familiar with Linux and its operation, networking, and security.
- Basic understanding of coding languages preferrerably Java, Scala.
- Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Good understanding of Jenkins, Maven, ANT and Docker.
- Agile scrum delivery experience.
