**Teacher’s duties include**:
1. Work collegially with their departmental team to support the school’s vision, mission, SLO, and philosophy; keep the school’s curricular and philosophical commitments as a WASC accredited Academy, and assist the team in meeting its planning goals
2. Work to ensure that at all times the school’s curriculum provides a safe, supportive learning environment for students, teachers, and all other members of the community
3. Help promote a culture where diversity is encouraged and where students learn to respect differences, take responsibility for their actions, exercise leadership, and strive for academic excellence
4. Work with colleagues, students, and the school community to create a thriving, dynamic, aspirational, academic culture
5. Assume responsibility for the effective delivery of the agreed curriculum to the students in his/her class(es).
6. Be informed about the aims and curriculum of the area in which he/she teaches.
7. Develop the content of courses in relation to the school's philosophy, objectives, and appropriate American Curriculum recognized programs.
8. Provide a welcoming, safe, and secure classroom environment, at all times, for all children in his/her care
9. Select the lesson content and activities which are appropriate to the needs of each student in his/her class(es), concerning the school’s philosophy and objectives, and in the light of the agreed curriculum.
10. In accordance with the Indian work standard, work the 48-hour, 6-day week as outlined in the teacher schedule.
11. The expectations for the delivery of these are spelled out in the appraisal documents
12. Be aware that the appraisal documents encompass what is expected of teachers in relation to their teaching practices ∙ maintain appropriate records of work covered in all his/her class(es).
This includes
a. assessment records
b. progress records
c. classroom planning records (such as a daily planner)
d. curriculum planning, as designated
e. attendance information
f. curriculum scope and sequence
g. correct all student assignments regularly and promptly
meet all deadlines (both internal and external) for the submission of student coursework
13. Meet all internal deadlines for the production of school reports
14. Inform parents of student's progress by way of report cards and, where necessary, letters or individual meetings
15. Be available for all parent‐teacher conferences ∙ attend all relevant meetings, including planning meetings
16. Submit to the Head Teacher/HOA copies of all letters sent to parents
17. Keep the Head Teacher/HOA informed, by way of personal files, of all factors relevant to each student
18. Be familiar with new developments and methods in the teaching of his/her field
19. Ensure appropriate behavior of students in class and around the school
20. Keep the Safeguarding Team and Homeroom teachers informed about student absence, lateness, or discipline problems
21. Maintain inventories of all textbooks and materials issued to students and ensure the return
22. Teach the classes as assigned by the HOA
23. Care for the classroom(s) in which he/she teaches and ensure that the room(s) is/are attractively decorated and conducive to learning
24. Undertake other duties assigned by the Head Teacher and HOA. Staff members are expected to be punctual for class, and to take attendance registers at the start of each lesson. Staff should be available and report promptly for all duties as required on the collateral duties roster.
25. At all times, teachers are responsible for acting and treating students and others with civility.
**Additional responsibilities as a Head Teacher -**
Teach a minimum of 3 courses.
Evaluate High School transcripts.
Coordinate with Administration, Operation, and Coaches for School Data Management on Alma not limited to CAA Diploma Management, Student academic records, and Teacher's Course assignments.
Led teachers' team for Curriculum, Instruction, and assessments
Coordinate with the Admissions for the client's academic meeting
Coordinate with the Dorm parent for Student attendance and general well being
Coordinate with the Counsellor /Coaches/ Teachers for the Uni app preparations for transcripts and LORs
Work closely with HOA with the day-to-day management of Student's academic and residential life
Coordinate with Coaches and teachers to ensure student's academic work is on track during tournaments
Coordinate with Teachers and HOA for WASC
Work closely and Communicate with Parents
Qualification
- Expeirence of over 15 years in educational field working closey with administaration and teaching.
Expeirence in IB Board background.
Preferreably should also be able to teach maths to higher grades (6th plus grades)
Ph.d Or Masters is highly prefered.
Willing to relocate to Karjat that is 2 hrs drive from Mumbai area.

**Salary**: ₹100,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
