Histopathology Technician

1. **Adherence to Policies and Standards**
- Adhere to departmental policies, procedures, and quality assurance programs.
- Follow safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
- Ensure compliance with ISO/NABH/NABL accreditation

standards and hospital policies.

2. **Operation of Laboratory Equipment**
- Maintain and operate histopathology and immunohistochemistry (IHC) laboratory equipment.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly instrument maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment-related issues.

3. **Tissue Processing and Slide Preparation**
- Process, embed, cut, and stain tissue specimens for microscopic examination.
- Perform special stains and optimize IHC staining protocols.
- Ensure high-quality slide preparation for accurate diagnosis.

4. **Quality Control and Documentation**
- Conduct examination of quality control materials in histopathology and IHC.
- Maintain documentation of QC data and escalate results as needed.

5. **Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Testing**
- Perform IHC staining to detect specific proteins and biomarkers.
- Optimize and validate antibodies for staining procedures.
- Work closely with pathologists to interpret IHC results.

6. **Specimen Handling and Processing**
- Accession, label, and process patient samples in histopathology and IHC.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of biological samples.
- Maintain compliance with laboratory safety and regulatory guidelines.

7. **Collaboration and Continuous Learning**
- Coordinate with pathologists, lab technicians, and healthcare teams.
- Participate in training programs and stay updated on new histology and IHC techniques.
- Assist in research and development activities related to histopathology and immunohistochemistry.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
