Associate Legal

▪ **Documentation & Agreements**:
- Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents including investment agreements, shareholder agreements, and incubation agreements.
- Ensure all documentation is compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
▪ **Legal Advisory**:
- Provide legal advice and support on matters related to startup incubation, investments, and corporate governance.
- Assist startups in understanding the legal implications of fundraising and investment processes.
▪ **Due Diligence**:
- Conduct legal due diligence for startups seeking investment.
- Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with investment processes.
▪ **Compliance**:
- Ensure startups comply with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations affecting startups and provide updates to the team.
▪ **Collaboration**:
- Work collaboratively with the portfolio team to support startups in their legal needs.
Liaise with external legal counsel when necessary.
**Qualifications, Experience, and Expertise**:
▪ Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB) from a recognized university. A master’s degree in law (LLM) will be an added advantage.
▪ Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in corporate law, preferably with a focus on startup legal advisory, investment processes, and due diligence.
Preferred Attributes:
▪ Experience in working with startups or in a startup environment.
▪ Familiarity with the legal landscape of the technology sector.
▪ Strong network within the legal community.
**Skills**:
▪ Strong understanding of corporate law, investment processes, and legal documentation.
▪ Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
▪ Ability to analyze and solve complex legal issues.
▪ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
▪ Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
