**Job Description -**
Insurance Coordinator with CPC will get a package (includes yearly ticket, medical, gratuity) of OMR 450 with accommodation and transport (no food) working hours will 9 hrs./day, 6 days a week (depending on the clinic roster). 30 days annual paid leave provided after completion on 365 days from date of joining.
Essential Duties:
Read insurance card used most frequently with the receptionist/patient
to understand the various coverage details to communicate more
effectively.
Document basic insurance information in the patient's file for quick
reference.
Obtain pre-approval from insurance companies according to their set
protocol.
Ensure all the presenting complaints, physical exam, and diagnosis are
appropriately documented by the physician. Assign appropriate ICD/CPT
codes to diagnosis before submission.
Verify all supporting documents are appropriate to meet insurance company
requirements.
Follow up with the physician for any missing patient health information
and correct it immediately.
Process and submit insurance claims daily.
Prepare and send uncollected deductible/coinsurance to Finance
Department.
Represent employers to insurance companies if necessary.
Monitor prior approval and update the laboratory for further process.
Send information as requested by insurance companies and other
documentation for processing the claim when applicable.
Handle all inquiries concerning the Insurance Department daily.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Skilled in the use of standard office equipment, including telephones,
calculators, copiers, fax, computers, and computer software (MS Excel,
Word, Practice Management software)
Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD/CPT coding system.
Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
