Postgraduate Teacher (PGT) in **Physics**

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences in Physics.
- Develop schemes of work and lesson plans aligned with curriculum objectives specific for physics.
- Provide instruction that caters to a range of competencies among students, preparing them for both academic success and competitive examinations.
- Assess and record student progress and provide grades and feedback to foster a positive learning environment.
- Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues, and parents regarding student progress and student needs.
- Participate in department, school, and parent meetings.
- Organize and participate in science fairs, club activities, and other educational engagements that enhance the learning experience beyond the classroom.
- Implement and adhere to school policies and procedures to ensure a safe and productive learning environment for all students.

Qualifications:

- Master’s degree in Physics or a related field from an accredited institution.
- B.Ed. degree or equivalent teaching qualification is mandatory.
- At least 3 years of teaching experience as a PGT in Physics, with experience in coaching students for competitive exams highly preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of teaching best practices and legal educational guidelines partnered with a willingness to follow the school’s policies and procedures.
- Excellent communicability and interpersonal skills.
- Well-organized and committed.
- Creative and energetic.
- Strong moral values and discipline.
