**Job Summary**:
The pharmacist is responsible for dispensing medications and providing healthcare advice to customers at both retail and online customers. In this role, the pharmacist will ensure accurate medication dispensing, ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, provide professional consultation to customers, and assist with inventory management in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. The pharmacist will also support online pharmacy services by verifying prescriptions, answering customer queries, and overseeing the delivery process for medications.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Medication Dispensing**:

- Accurately dispense prescribed medications to customers, both in-store and for online orders.
- Review and verify prescriptions for completeness, legality, and correctness of dosage.
- Ensure appropriate medication labeling and storage conditions.
- **Customer Consultation**:

- Provide professional advice and information about medications, over-the-counter products, and healthcare services.
- Advise customers on potential side effects, interactions, and proper medication usage.
- Assist with personalized health recommendations based on customer needs.
- **Regulatory Compliance**:

- Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations, including proper handling of controlled substances.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA and company policies.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Monitor stock levels and reorder medications and supplies to ensure the availability of products.
- Conduct regular stock audits and assist in the management of returns and expired products.
- Ensure medication storage conditions meet regulatory requirements.
- **Online Pharmacy Support**:

- Verify online prescriptions and confirm customer details for accuracy.
- Coordinate and monitor the timely delivery of online orders, ensuring that medications reach customers without delay.
- **Health & Wellness Promotion**:

- Educate customers about preventive care, wellness products, and lifestyle changes.
- Recommend vaccinations and other services available through the pharmacy.
- Participate in community outreach activities and health-related promotions both in-store and online.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses, to provide optimal patient care.
- Collaborate with online pharmacy team members to ensure smooth operations between online and in-store services.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- D. Pharm or B. Pharm
- **Experience**:

- Proven experience as a pharmacist in a retail or online pharmacy setting.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical laws and regulations.
- Previous experience in managing online pharmacy services is a plus.
- **Skills**:

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using digital communication tools and online pharmacy platforms.

**Working Conditions**:

- Full-time
- Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required.
- The position involves working in a retail pharmacy environment as well as remotely managing online pharmacy orders.
