**Job Title**: Computer Operator

**Job Summary**: A Computer Operator is responsible for monitoring and controlling computer systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and securely. This role involves managing hardware and software resources, troubleshooting issues, and performing routine maintenance to support organizational operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **System Monitoring**: Oversee daily operations of computer systems and networks, ensuring optimal performance.
- **Data Management**: Process and manage data, including backups, storage, and retrieval.
- **Troubleshooting**: Identify and resolve hardware and software issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- **Maintenance**: Perform regular system updates, patches, and preventive maintenance tasks.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of system performance, issues encountered, and resolutions implemented.
- **User Support**: Assist end-users with technical issues and provide guidance on system usage.
- **Security Compliance**: Ensure systems adhere to organizational security policies and procedures.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Prior experience in computer operations or a related IT role is preferred.
- **Analytical Skills**: Strong problem-solving abilities to diagnose and address technical issues effectively.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members and end-users.
- **Attention to Detail**: Meticulous approach to monitoring systems and documenting processes.
