**Roles and Responsibilities**

**sourcing of maintenance and production related items, new vendor development, price negotiation.**

**Overall activities in purchase department, implementing & ensuring centralized purchase process**
**- Sourcing of material / spares**
**- Cost reduction by new vendor development, negotiation, contracts etc.**
**- To make enquiry, collect quotations & make comparative statement for each & every material**
**- Purchase goods, materials, components, services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets**
**- Track orders & ensure timely delivery**
**- Review quality of material procured**
**- Monitor stock level & order accordingly**
**- Co-ordination with production, Maintenance, stores, quality, HR & Admin for requirements**
**- Develop new vendors for cost reductions with improving quality as per actual requirement**
**- Prepare periodic reports pertaining to stock, price trends and development of alternative source of supplier**
**- Ensure commercial, legal & contractual compliance in all the procurement transactions**
**- Ensure to establish coma mercial balance between the budgeted cost and actual cost**
**- Ensure to procsourcesure material with 5R i.e. Right Quality, right qty, Right time, right price & right source**
**- Payment follow-up with account**
**- SOP implementation**
**- Inventory control management**
**- Risk analysis**
**- Maintain approved vendor list along with price list of material**
**- ISO & 5S implementation.**

**Knowledge of Engineering material, good Negotiation skill, Experience in alternate supplier development**
