**Key Responsibilities**:

- Database Design: Design and implement database structures that meet the requirements of large ICT projects, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Database Implementation: Deploy and configure databases, including software installation, user access control, and data migration.
- Database Maintenance: Perform routine database maintenance tasks, including backups, updates, and performance tuning to ensure optimal system performance.
- Data Security: Implement and maintain data security protocols, access controls, and encryption to safeguard sensitive information.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve database issues, performance bottlenecks, and system errors in a timely manner.
- Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain database backup and recovery plans to ensure data availability in case of system failures.
- Database Monitoring: Continuously monitor database systems for anomalies, and proactively address potential issues to maintain system stability.
- Database Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of database configurations, procedures, and changes.

**Qualifications**:

- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (B.E/B.Tech) or Computer Applications (MCA).
- Experience: More than 5 years of experience in large database design, implementation, and maintenance for large ICT projects.
- Certification: Possess relevant certification in the proposed database technology used in the solution, earning 2 marks.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- In-depth knowledge of database management systems, such as Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in database query languages (SQL) and scripting languages.
- Understanding of database optimization, performance tuning, and scalability.
- Knowledge of data modeling and design principles.
- Familiarity with data security and compliance standards.
