**CAD Designer**

**Job Role**:The CAD Designer for diamond and polki designs plays a crucial role in a jewellery manufacturing company. The primary purpose of this role is to transform conceptual designs into detailed digital models that can be used for production. The person would be responsible to create detailed, intricate and visually appealing designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software for both diamond and polki jewellery pieces. The CAD Designer will collaborate closely with the design team to transform their ideas into precise digital representations and technical drawings that meet customer requirements and manufacturing standards. They would also be responsible for delivering high-quality designs that meet quality standards and exceed industry standards.

**Location**:Jaipur

**Qualification (Must/Desirable)**: Any graduate/ postgraduate preferably in Designing (Jewellery)

**Experience**:

- 3-5 years of experience as a CAD designer preferably in jewellery manufacturing industry showcasing expertise in designing high-quality jewellery pieces.
- Excellent knowledge of CAD software, including Rhino, Matrix, and or similar with a strong ability to create accurate 3D models, rendering, and technical drawing tools.
- Proven Knowledge of the different categories of jewellery e.g., rings, bracelets etc. and of regional specialties of jeweler.
- Creative and innovative mindset with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes, materials, gemstones, and industry trends.
- Understanding of the technical drawings and skills including dimensioning and tolerancing.
- Ability to manage people and provide training as per the requirement and update oneself.

**Job Requirement**:

- Utilize CAD software to create 3D models and renderings of diamond and polki jewelry designs incorporating precise measurements and specifications.
- Present design concepts to the CAD Designer Head and design team, considering their input and feedback for design improvement.
- Collaborate with the design team to refine and modify designs based on client feedback, ensuring their satisfaction and alignment with brand aesthetics.
- Conduct regular quality checks on the designs to ensure accuracy, feasibility, and compliance with manufacturing requirements.
- Maintain a well-organized database of designs, including digital files, revisions, specifications, and documentation, ensuring easy access and retrieval when needed.
- Ensure all designs meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and aesthetics and within budget.
- Organize inter-departmental meetings functional teams on a predefined agenda for smooth working
- Actively participate in design discussions, brainstorming sessions, and presentations, providing creative input and constructive feedback.
- Produce CAD drawings for new or improved products using industry, departmental and discipline standards.
- Coordinate with the production team to address any design-related queries, clarify design specifications, and ensure smooth transition from concept to production.
- Assist in the production of prototypes by providing accurate CAD models and technical drawings to enable the manufacturing team to create physical samples for evaluation and approval.
- Stay up to date with the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies in the diamond jewellery and polki design industry.
