Receptionist - Duties & Responsibilities
**1. Front Desk Operations**
- Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and guests in a polite and professional manner.
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person or department.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls promptly.
**2. Visitor & Appointment Management**
- Maintain a visitor logbook or digital entry system.
- Schedule and confirm appointments or meetings.
- Inform concerned employees about visitor arrivals.
**3. Communication Handling**
- Receive and relay messages accurately.
- Respond to basic inquiries about the company’s services, address, and contacts.
**4. Administrative Support**
- Assist with data entry, photocopying, scanning, and filing documents.
- Maintain reception area cleanliness and ensure it is well-organized.
- Order and manage office supplies related to the reception area.
**5. Security & Compliance**
- Ensure visitors follow security protocols (ID checks, visitor passes).
- Notify security personnel about any suspicious activity or incidents.
**6. Mail & Courier Management**
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail.
- Prepare and send outgoing courier packages.
**7. Coordination**
- Liaise with administrative or HR teams for employee attendance and movement records.
- Support event coordination by assisting with guest reception.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
