**Job Title: Admission Counselor**

**Job Summary**:The Admission Counselor serves as a key point of contact for prospective students and their families, providing guidance, information, and support throughout the admissions process. The counselor evaluates applicant qualifications, conducts interviews, and helps individuals make informed decisions regarding their educational pursuits. The role involves effective communication, organization, and a commitment to facilitating a positive experience for students.

**Responsibilities**:
**Counseling Sessions**: Conduct one-on-one or group counseling sessions with prospective students and their families to address questions, concerns, and provide guidance.

**Interviews**: Conduct interviews with applicants to assess their academic goals, interests, and alignment with the institution's values.

**Admission Decisions**: Participate in the admission decision-making process by presenting applicant profiles to the admissions committee.

**Event Participation**: Represent the institution at college fairs, information sessions, and other recruitment events to attract potential students.

**Documentation**: Maintain accurate and organized records of interactions with applicants, including notes from counseling sessions and interviews.

**Collaboration**: Coordinate with other departments, such as financial aid, academic advising, and enrollment services, to ensure a seamless admissions process for students.

**Market Research**: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and changes in admission requirements to provide relevant and up-to-date information to applicants.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., education, counseling, psychology, communication).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Empathy and the ability to connect with diverse individuals and backgrounds.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail for managing applicant records.
- Familiarity with education systems, admission processes, and financial aid options.
- Proficiency in using technology, including CRM systems and communication tools.
- Previous experience in counseling, admissions, or a related field is a plus.

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

- Liluah, Howrah, West Bengal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
