Tax and Compliance Officer

Qatar Airways is looking for an experienced staff to join our Tax and Compliance team as Officer to drive its newly established Global Business Services (GBS) operations in Ahmedabad, India.
The position will be responsible for tax compliance, Corporate laws & other allied laws, Tax computations, Tax filing, ensuring correct monthly closing of Tax GL accounts.
**Responsibilities**:
- Preparing corporate income tax return for airline
- Assisting for preparing monthly financial tax statements of outstations & identifying drivers of financial receivables & payable of tax, GST/ VAT
- Assisting for direct & indirect tax litigation & advisory matters
- Assisting for implementation of internal & external tax audit finding results
- Ensuring correct monthly closing of tax GL account
- Ensuring computation of tax as per local legislation, payment of due taxes & filing tax returns on timely basis

**Qualifications**:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s in Finance / Taxation / CA / ICWA/ CPA/ ACCA with relevant experience
- Minimum 4 years relevant work experience
- Prefer user level experience on Oracle/ SAP.
